Chemical peeling for the treatment of acne, oily skin, comedones and acne scars.

The DERMIDA® Matrixpeel™ is a complex acid blend of azelaic acid (14%) and salicylic acid (2%) to minimize acne, oily skin, blackheads, whiteheads and acne scars. It gently removes dead cells, regulates the oil content of the skin, minimizes enlarged pores and evens out different skin tones.

Due to its viscous texture and pH of 3.0 to 3.5, it is ideal for use with a puncture pen in combination with a nano-needle head. First, the sterile and pharmaceutical peel is applied beforehand with a brush to increase its effectiveness, and then applied directly to the skin with the Dermapen and a nano-needle head.

It can be used as a stand-alone treatment or as a pre-treatment for cosmetic or medical microneedling. It is also possible to simply apply it with a brush without the additional penetration effect of the NeedlingPen.

The package contains 5 sterile ampoules with a piercing septum. One ampoule is enough for one treatment. A sterile withdrawal syringe with cannula is supplied free of charge to perform the first withdrawal.

The effect: Anti Acne Peel

Azelaic acid has antibacterial properties, removes dead skin cells, cleanses the skin layer and gives the skin a bright, radiant complexion. The acid is a powerful antioxidant and is excellent for treating active acne and lingering acne scars.

Salicylic acid has keratolytic, antiseptic and bacteriostatic effects. It neutralizes the skin and normalizes its oil content and dissolves comedones, regulates sebum production, exfoliates the skin surface and minimizes pore size.

Matrixpeel™: next generation anti-acne peel

The patented, multi-stage Matrixpeel™ treatment system from DERMIDA® was developed to improve the effectiveness, safety and application options of chemical or fruit acid peels. This method can be used to treat a wide range of skin conditions.

In contrast to conventional peelings, a so-called nano-peeling (light microdermabrasion) is carried out first as preparation in order to loosen the cornifications, adjust the skin texture and make the peeling work more evenly. This allows the renewal to be activated much more than with conventional methods.

APPLICATION TIPS

CLEANSING

Remove makeup residue and other cosmetic products with a gentle but thorough cleansing of the skin.

DEGREASING

Now add a special pre-peel degreasing solution to remove excess oil (sebum) and sebum. While doing so, spread it evenly on the skin with a cotton pad.

NANOPEELING

Before the fruit acid peel, you should perform a nanopeeel with your NeedlingPen. To do this, use the nano-needling head and set the device to the highest speed setting. Instead of making circular motions, you should make two linear passes over each area of skin to eliminate bumps, calluses, and flaky skin, and to even out the texture of the skin. This will make the subsequent peeling more homogeneous.

ANTI-ACNE PEELING

Next, we approach the anti-acne cell renewal treatment. For this, we first close the eyes with a special pad and protect sensitive areas with the help of Vaseline. Then we need to draw up the glycolic acid with an extraction syringe and remove the cannula.

Now we can take the peeling with a fan brush or a mask and let the effect work for between 3 and 10 minutes, depending on the desired intensity.

To enhance the effect of the peeling and improve its penetration, we use the nano-needle head, moving in a circular motion.

NEUTRALIZATION

First use a cotton pad to remove the excess fruit acid. Then apply the post-peel solution and leave it on for 1 to 4 minutes. Then remove the solution with clear water. This stops the peeling process and restores the skin's natural pH.

BOOSTER (OPTIONAL)

For sensitive skin or deep peels, this step should be skipped. After that, sterile and gentle ampoules can be used for the purpose of treatment.

AFTERCARE

Help the skin to calm down by applying a soothing, anti-inflammatory after-treatment. A cream or mask with aloe vera is especially recommended.

SUN PROTECTION

Important If you regularly use fruit acid or chemical peeling, the horny layer and the protective function of the skin is temporarily reduced, which increases photosensitivity. To avoid direct UV radiation from sunlight, use creams or serums with a sun protection factor of 50 - even in the days after treatment.
