Glycolic acid peeling: Powerful and effective against pale and pigmented skin!

The DERMIDA Matrixpeel™ Glycolic 20% Mono Acid is a chemical peel specifically designed to treat hyperpigmentation, impurities, blackheads, visually open pores or tired, dry and dull skin. It has a viscous composition and a pH between 1.6 and 2.0, which makes it ideal to be applied with a needle stick in combination with a nano-needle head.

Prior to treatment, a sterile, pharmaceutically pure peel is applied with a brush and then topically incorporated into the skin with the Dermapen and a nano-needle head to increase the effectiveness of the glycolic peel.

The product can be used either on its own or as a pre-treatment in cosmetic or medical microneedling applications. Alternatively, it can simply be applied to the skin with a brush without the additional penetration effect of a needle stick.

Each box contains 5 sterile ampoules, each of which allows one treatment. Included is a sterile withdrawal syringe with cannula, which allows easy piercing of the septum.

Matrixpeel™: next-generation fruit acid and chemical peels

Matrixpeel™ is a patented, multi-step treatment system from DERMIDA® developed to improve the efficacy, safety and potential use of chemical peels. Unlike traditional peels, the first step in Matrixpeel™ is a nano-peel (light microdermabrasion) to remove keratinization, adjust skin texture and make the subsequent peel appear more even. Then, the peel itself is applied and worked into the skin epidermally with a nanoneedle head to increase penetration and effectiveness. This allows for much greater cell renewal than traditional methods.

APPLICATION TIPS

CLEANSING

Gently and thoroughly cleanses the skin of makeup and other cosmetic products.

DEGREASING

Now use a special pre-peel degreasing solution to remove excess fat (sebum) and sebum. Use a cotton ball to spread the solution evenly.

NANOPEELING

Before the fruit acid peel, perform a nanopeeel with the NeedlingPen. To do this, use a nano-needling head and set the device to the highest speed setting. Instead of making circular movements, move linearly twice over each skin area to even out the skin texture and remove unevenness, cornification and scales, making the subsequent peel more homogeneous.

GLYCOLIC ACID PEELING

This is followed by a sensitive peeling with lactic acid for cell renewal and indication treatment. To do this, cover the eyes with a pad and protect the sensitive areas with Vaseline. Draw up the glycolic acid with the extraction syringe provided, remove the cannula and perform the peeling very quickly with the fan or mask brush.

Next, perform the glycolic acid peel for cell renewal and treatment indications. To do this, cover the eyes with a pad and protect sensitive areas with petroleum jelly. Apply glycolic acid with the syringe provided, remove the needle.

Now quickly apply the peeling with the fan brush or mask. Depending on the desired effect, leave on for between 3 and 10 minutes. To enhance the effect of the peeling and improve penetration, now work with the nano-needle head and circular movements. Before the layer dries, more layers can be applied. Never apply more than 5 layers.

NEUTRALIZATION

Remove excess fruit acid with a cotton pad. Then use and apply the post-peel solution. It stops the peeling process and restores the natural pH of the skin. leave on for 1 to 4 minutes and rinse off with clear water.

BOOSTER (OPTIONAL)

After that, sterile and gentle ampoules can be used for the treatment. For sensitive skin or deep peels, this step should be skipped.

AFTERCARE

Soothing and anti-inflammatory after-treatment to calm the skin. Especially recommended is a cream or mask with aloe vera.

SUN PROTECTION

Important! The skin will temporarily become more sensitive to sunlight due to the peeling effect. Therefore, when using a fruit acid or chemical peel regularly, it is essential to avoid direct UV radiation from sunlight. Creams or serums with a sun protection factor of 50 should be used in the days following treatment to support the horny layer and the protective function of the skin.
