Rejuvenate your appearance: With the most effective microneedling serum against extrinsic skin aging!

Microneedling serum against UV and environmental skin damage with glutathione and vitamin C.

The DERMIDA® Glutathione Booster Microneedling Serum is designed to combat all types of skin damage due to extrinsic aging.

This photoaging caused by external factors such as UV radiation, weather conditions, certain medications and lifestyle habits such as smoking and alcohol consumption can lead to deep wrinkles, pale skin discoloration or uneven pigmentation.

The active ingredient complex of this serum also has a preventive effect against skin damage caused by UV radiation. The sterile, pharmaceutically pure serum with glutathione and vitamin C is applied before treatment and then worked into the skin with modern microneedling devices such as Dermaroller or Dermapen.

The resulting microperforation thereby maximizes the efficiency of the serum exponentially.

Microneedling glutathione and vitamin C serum - an unbeatable combination!

Glutathione is considered one of the most effective natural anti-aging ingredients in photoaging. Photoaging causes deep wrinkles, pale discoloration as well as uneven pigmentation.

Due to its strong antioxidant property, glutathione protects the skin from harmful environmental factors that can damage not only cells and tissues, but also collagen fibers that provide firmness and elasticity to the skin. Glutathione is especially effective when used in combination with vitamin C.

Both ingredients perform tasks that support each other and play an important role in combating sun-induced and environmental skin aging.

Sophisticated in every detail - DERMIDA® Glutathione Booster!

In addition to theory, we know that serums today must also be applicable in practice.

The design of the overall product is as important as its effectiveness. The microneedling serum with glutathione and vitamin C is therefore delivered in an amber jar to protect the contents from UV radiation.

In addition, each booster serum is designed as an injection bottle. The manufacturer uses a special high-tech rubber, which contains an outer closure made of aluminum foil (stopper) at the septum and to fix the rubber. This closes automatically and completely after the cannula is pierced.

Tips for use

hyaluron booster

1. Apply Glutathione Booster Serum after cleansing and disinfecting the skin area to be treated. The sterile serums are applied before the actual needling in order to inject the highly concentrated active ingredients directly with the Derma Roller or Needling Pen.

2. First, carefully remove the white cap from the puncture bottle.

3. Draw up the serum with the fine dosing syringe provided. Place the needle on the syringe and remove the protective cap. Be careful not to touch the needle with your fingers to avoid contamination.

4. Pierce the gray septum with the withdrawal syringe and withdraw the desired amount of serum.

5. The needle can be easily removed to safely distribute the serum on the skin. You can then work the serum in with a needling device of your choice. The serum now also serves as a lubricating film and makes the treatment more pleasant.

FAQ

What does a Microneedle serum do?

The essential added value of microneedling therapy as a non-ablative and minimally invasive cosmetic procedure lies in the low-risk, cost-effective and at the same time highly efficient treatment of aesthetic skin problems.

Example: Our skin is a natural protective mantle that acts as a barrier for creams and ointments. Not only is it the largest organ of the human body, but its function and structure also protect us from external chemical, mechanical and thermal influences. However, it does not make a significant difference between useful active substances and harmful influences.

Conventional creams and serums try to reach or penetrate this barrier with so-called penetrators. With rather moderate success. Microneedle serum, on the other hand, has a "clear path", so to speak, since the skin channels (and thus the protective layer) open up during treatment. A large number of studies have meanwhile proven the increased effectiveness of serums in combination with microneedling treatment. Thanks to specially formulated ingredients, serums can target problem areas. A pleasant side effect is the lubricating film formed by the often viscous serums, which acts like a cooling protective film between the microneedling device and the skin.

What does transdermal, topical or sterile mean?

Transdermal means that a drug is applied directly to the skin to be absorbed into the body.

Topical refers to the application of a drug or other substance to a limited surface area of the body.

Sterile means that a product or substance is completely free of germs.

Apply serum with Dermaroller or Dermapen?

For the application and effectiveness of sterile serums, it does not matter whether you use Dermaroller or Dermapen to apply the serum, both devices are equally suitable for transdermal application.

Dermaroller and Dermapen are both very effective tools to revitalize the skin. To get the most out of the session, it is best to work the serum in immediately after the treatment. When the serum is worked in with the Dermaroller or Dermapen, the active ingredients of the serum will penetrate deeper into the skin, allowing the skin to respond better to the serum's effects.

How are sterile sera used?

Apply serum to cleansed and disinfected skin area and massage in with Dermapen or Dermaroller.

How to remove the serum from the ampoule?

Currently, there are two types of sterile sera for microneedling:

1. Fracture ampoules

2. Penetrating ampoules.

Fracture ampoules have a predetermined breaking point that must be opened to remove the serum, although this is a non-sealable connection and the serum must be used up once.

Penetrating ampoules, on the other hand, are designed as injection containers and are sealed with a rubber stopper, a puncture rubber (septum) and an additional outer closure. A special rubber closes automatically and completely after the needle pierces the septum, making the serum sterile and uncontaminated again and allowing it to be used for up to 2 years.

The syringe is used to extract the serum, close the puncture rubber and remove the cannula so that it can be safely spread over the affected skin area.

What should be considered when storing serum?

To ensure optimal effectiveness of the active ingredients, the serum is usually supplied in opaque brown packaging and in an amber jar.

It should be stored away from direct sunlight and at temperatures between 15 °C and 25 °C. After the first opening, it is recommended to store the serum, whether in a push-through vial or a break vial, in the refrigerator. Broken ampoules must be used up completely after opening.

What is the shelf life of the serum once opened?

Unopened, you will find the expiration date on the packaging. Sterile serum usually has a shelf life of two years if it has not been broken open. If you have opened a broken vial, you must use it up completely. Penetrating ampoules with a resealable septum are stable for a long time after sterile withdrawal and the best-before date remains unchanged.
