Gentle and effective: lactic acid peeling for a pure and radiant skin!

The DERMIDA Matrixpeel™ Lactic 30% Mono Acid is a lactic acid-based fruit acid peel specifically designed for the treatment of sensitive, dry and aged skin. It is known as a comprehensive exfoliating solution due to its good tolerance and universal application. Its viscous consistency and pH between 3.0 and 3.5 make it ideal for use with a stylus in combination with a nano-needle head.

Prior to treatment with the Dermapen and a nano-needle head, a sterile, pharmaceutically pure peel is topically applied to the skin with a brush. This increases the effectiveness of the lactic acid peel. It can be used as a stand-alone treatment, cosmetic or medical microneedling pre-treatment.

Without the additional penetration effect of the NeedlingPen, simple application with a brush is of course also possible.

There comes a box of 5 sterile ampoules, each of which allows one treatment. To perform the first withdrawal, a sterile withdrawal syringe with cannula is supplied free of charge. Each ampoule has a septum for piercing.

Lactic acid peeling and its effect

Lactic acid peel is considered the most sensitive fruit acid peel due to its composition and action.Matrixpeel™ Lactic 30% is an organic alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that breaks the adhesion between the cells of the epidermis and stimulates exfoliation.

Lactic acid peel is one of the most popular methods to cleanse and refresh the skin. It is used to reduce the appearance of blemishes, acne and other skin problems. It is a safe and effective way to tone and renew the skin.

Lactic acid is a naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) found in many foods such as yogurt, citrus fruits and milk. It can also be found in the form of exfoliants in cosmetic products. Lactic acid helps break down the outer layer of skin to refresh and cleanse the skin.

The effect of lactic acid peels is largely due to the acid's ability to soften the outer layer of skin and open the pores. This allows the acid to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin to cleanse the skin and reduce the effects of acne. It can also help reduce wrinkles and tighten the skin.

Lactic acid peels should not be used on dry skin, as this can cause irritation. It is important to apply a moisturizer before applying the peel to protect the skin from irritation.

It is important not to use a lactic acid peel more often than every two weeks, otherwise it can cause skin irritation and inflammation. If you have sensitive skin, you should consult a dermatologist before using it.

Stand-alone Matrixpeel™ treatment

Matrixpeel™: next generation lactic acid treatment

Matrixpeel™ is a patented, multi-step treatment system developed by DERMIDA® to improve the efficacy, safety and application options of chemical or fruit acid peels.

It can be used to correct a wide range of aesthetic indications. Unlike conventional peels, the Matrixpeel™ is preceded by a so-called nanopeeling (light microdermabrasion) to remove cornifications, adjust the skin texture and make the subsequent peeling more homogeneous.

The peel itself is first applied and then epidermally processed with a nanoneedle to increase penetration and effectiveness. Cell renewal can be activated much more than with conventional methods.

APPLICATION TIPS

CLEANSING

Gently but thoroughly cleanse the skin of makeup and other cosmetic products.

DEGREASING

Now use a special pre-peel degreasing solution to remove excess fat (sebum) and sebum. Use a cotton ball to spread the solution evenly.

NANOPEELING

Before the fruit acid peel, use your NeedlingPen with a nano-needle head and set the device to the highest speed. Then, instead of circular movements, make two linear movements over each skin area to smooth the texture of the skin, eliminate bumps, cornifications and flaky skin and make the subsequent peeling more homogeneous.

LACTIC ACID PEELING

First place a pad on the eyes and protect sensitive areas with Vaseline. Then use the extraction syringe to extract the lactic acid and remove the cannula.

Then quickly perform the sensitive peel using the fan or mask brush. Leave the acid on for 3 to 10 minutes, depending on the desired effect.

To enhance the effect of the peel, work with the nano-needle head and circular movements. Do not add more than 5 layers before the layer dries.

NEUTRALIZATION

First use a cotton pad to wipe off the excess fruit acid. Then apply the post-peel solution. This stops the peeling process and restores the natural pH of the skin. Leave the solution on for 1 to 4 minutes and then remove it with clear water.

BOOSTER (OPTIONAL)

For sensitive skin or deep peels, this step should be skipped. Then sterile and gentle ampoules can be used, which contribute to the application of the treatment.

AFTERCARE

To soothe the skin, it is recommended to apply a soothing and anti-inflammatory after-treatment. The best choice here is a cream or mask with aloe vera. This can help reduce inflammation and soothe the skin.

SUN PROTECTION

Wchtig! Regular use of a fruit acid or chemical peel reduces the horny layer and the protective function of the skin, making it more susceptible to UV radiation. For this reason, it is essential to avoid direct sun exposure in the days following the treatment and to use creams or serums with SPF 50.
