Microneedle serum against scars and stretch marks - With a complex of active ingredients proven in practice.

DERMIDA® Stretch and Scar Reversal Microneedle Serum is enriched with a unique complex of active ingredients consisting of hydrated elastin and pharmacologically pure plant extracts of Gotu Kola (Gotu Kola extract).

This combination has been proven to significantly reverse stretch marks and scars. This special formulation was provided by researchers from the Department of Pharmacology at the University Hospital of Barcelona, and in field studies, the composition achieved an 89% improvement in complexion compared to the placebo group.

Sophisticated down to the smallest detail - Microneedle Stretch & Scar Reversal Serum

We not only know the theory, but also know that modern serums must be applicable in practice. In addition to an effective effect, the perfect design of the entire product is important to us.

The serum against eye wrinkles, bags under the eyes and dark circles is delivered in a soft amber glass to protect the sensitive content from UV radiation. Each sterile serum is designed as an injection pack. These reusable piercing vials are sealed with a rubber stopper (septum) for piercing. There is an aluminum foil on the outside to protect the septum and fix the rubber stopper.

A special high-tech rubber is used, which closes automatically and completely after the cannula is pierced. This means that the serum is sterile, uncontaminated and resealable for up to 2 years, as if you had never opened the serum.

Tips for use

DERMIDA® Stretch & Scar Reversal | Sterile Microneedling Serum

1. Use Eye Contour Reversal Serum after cleansing/disinfection, no enzymatic peeling.

2. Remove the white cap of the vial.

3. Remove serum with fine dosage syringe provided.

4. Pierce gray septum and remove syringe with desired amount of serum.

5. Remove cannula to safely dispense serum.

6. Work serum with needling device and use as lubricating film.

The serum can then be applied with a needling device of your choice. The serum now also serves as a lubricating film and makes the treatment more pleasant.

1. Disinfection of the device: Instrusol® and water, NeedlingPen needle head

2. Clean face and disinfect with Alcoderm

3. Spread sterile serum on face

4. Microneedling with technique

5. DERMAID Skin Plus Treatment PostBalm

6. Rinse dermaroller and disinfect with Instrusol®

7. Allow dermaroller to air dry and store in container

8. Avoid touching the skin, heavy sweating, steam baths and direct sun exposure

9. Do not wear make-up

10. Sleep is the best rest, change pillowcase if needed

Clean your device first. Mix 4 ml Instrusol® with 100 ml water in a glass and place the dermaroller in it for 15 minutes.

The needle roller should be completely covered with the mixture. Then rinse the dermaroller with lukewarm water and let it air dry.

If you are using the NeedlingPen instead, disinfect the needle head in the same process. After that, clean your face well and disinfect it with Alcoderm.

Then take the sterile serum with the syringe provided and spread it over your face. Wearing powder-free nitrile gloves is recommended to prevent the spread of germs.

Microneedling with the right technique - Technique is key. Here it is helpful to divide your body into different areas. Now roll 8 times from top to bottom and 8 times from left to right. Then 8 times diagonally from top left to bottom right and 8 times diagonally al from top right to bottom left. Between each roll, lift the dermaroller completely off the skin and replace it. Repeat this process until all areas of skin have been treated. If using the NeedlingPen, simply glide over the same area of skin 3-4 times.

After treatment, rinse the Dermaroller thoroughly with clean water and then disinfect it again with Instrusol® and water and allow it to air dry.

Store the dermaroller in the container provided. Avoid touching your skin with your hands for the next two hours. Avoid heavy sweating, steam baths and direct sunlight on the day of treatment.

Do not wear makeup. Sleep is the best rest for your skin now, and change your pillowcase if needed.

FAQ

What does a Microneedle serum do?

The essential added value of microneedling therapy as a non-ablative and minimally invasive cosmetic procedure lies in the low-risk, cost-effective and at the same time highly efficient treatment of aesthetic skin problems.

Example: Our skin is a natural protective mantle that acts as a barrier for creams and ointments. Not only is it the largest organ of the human body, but its function and structure also protect us from external chemical, mechanical and thermal influences. However, it does not make a significant difference between useful active substances and harmful influences.

Conventional creams and serums try to reach or penetrate this barrier with so-called penetrators. With rather moderate success. Microneedle serum, on the other hand, has a "clear path", so to speak, since the skin channels (and thus the protective layer) open up during treatment. A large number of studies have meanwhile proven the increased effectiveness of serums in combination with microneedling treatment. Thanks to specially formulated ingredients, serums can target problem areas. A pleasant side effect is the lubricating film formed by the often viscous serums, which acts like a cooling protective film between the microneedling device and the skin.

What is meant by transdermal, topical or sterile?

By Microneedle serum we mean a sterile active ingredient formulation specifically designed for topical and transdermal application directly to the skin during treatment with Dermapen or Dermaroller.

Topical means that the active ingredient is applied only to the appropriate area.

Transdermal means that the active ingredient is absorbed directly through the skin where it exerts its effect.

Sterile means that it is free from germs capable of reproduction, such as microorganisms and viruses. Serum is sterile only under strictly controlled, documented and certified pharmaceutically pure manufacturing conditions.

Apply serum with dermaroller or dermapen?

For the application and efficacy of sterile sera it is irrelevant whether they are applied with the Dermaroller or the Dermapen, both devices are equally suitable for transdermal application.

How to use sterile sera?

Apply serum to cleansed and disinfected skin area and massage in with Dermapen or Dermaroller.

How to remove the serum from the ampoule?

Currently, there are two types of sterile sera for microneedling:

1. Fracture ampoules

2. Penetrating ampoules

Break ampoules have a predetermined breaking point that must be opened (i.e., broken) for removal. They are not resealable, which means the serum must be used up when applied.

Penetrating vials, on the other hand, are designed as injection containers. These reusable vials are sealed with a rubber stopper that has a piercing rubber (septum). In order to protect the septum and fix the rubber stopper, there is an additional external closure.

We use a special rubber that closes automatically and completely after the cannula is pierced. Thus, the serum is sterilely closed again, uncontaminated and usable for up to 2 years. It is as if the serum had never been opened. The syringe is pierced through the septum and pulled out with the serum. The additional needle can then be removed and the serum safely distributed over the affected skin area.

What should be considered when storing the serum?

To ensure maximum efficacy of all active ingredients, most serums are supplied in light-tight amber glass or outer packaging. It should be stored away from sunlight and at temperatures between 15 °C and 25 °C. After the first withdrawal, it is recommended that all sera in piercing ampoules be stored in the refrigerator. Sera in broken ampoules should be used up completely after opening.

Is it possible to combine different serums?

Combining different serums within one treatment is not recommended. However, it is possible to combine different microneedling serums within different treatments. An excellent base serum is always the Hyaluron Booster Serum. For example, the following treatment regimens have been specifically developed:

Wrinkle treatment

Treatment 1: Hyaluron Booster Serum (intensive moisturizing)

Treatment 2: Age Killer Cocktail (wrinkle correction)

Treatment 3: Age Killer Cocktail

...

Mimic wrinkles

Treatment 1: Hyaluron Booster Serum (intensive moisturizing)

Treatment 2: Agri-Fix Special (Correction)

Treatment 3: Agri-Fix Special (Correction)

...

Stretch marks

Treatment 1: Hyaluron Booster Serum (Intensive Moisturizing)

Treatment 2: Carboxderm (correction)

Treatment 3: Carboxderm (Correction)

What is the shelf life of the serum once opened?

When unopened, the expiration date is indicated on the packaging. As a rule, a sterile serum can be stored unopened for two years. Once opened, vials must be used up completely. Penetrating ampoules with a resealable septum remain stable for a long time after sterile withdrawal, i.e. the expiry date does not change.
